Hi all, my name is Christina. I’m a backyard duck farmer who lives in the suburbs of Florida. When I first started raising ducks as a kid, it wasn’t legal in residential areas, but thanks to many poultry enthusiasts we succeeded in passing The Backyard Chicken ordinance, which allows people to keep a few birds in their backyard, under certain rules and conditions. Backyard farming is not only green and organic, but it’s extremely enjoyable. There’s nothing like freshly lain eggs in the morning!
